Personal Use Limitation
There is no charge to browse the BTCompass.com. The BTCompass.com is only for your personal, non-commercial use. The selling of services from the BTCompass.com to third parties is prohibited (i.e., you are not allowed to charge for the use of the database on behalf of non-members). Copyrighted photos may not be used without explicit documented permission from the owner or photographer.

Accounts & Subscriptions
To add a dog or make changes to the database you must have a paid subscription. To set up an account you need to provide information about yourself and continue to update the information as necessary to keep it current. Once a subscription has been purchased it cannot be refunded. After a paid subscription is registered you have access to the database and the information and functions of the purchase are delivered. Personal data provided by a user to the BTCompass.com will be used only in connection with services provided on the BTCompass.com and will not be given to others. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. Additionally, you are responsible for all activities that occur in your account, and you agree to notify an administrator of the BTCompass.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. The BTCompass.com is not responsible for any loss that you may incur resulting from any unauthorized person using your account or your password. The BTCompass.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the BTCompass.com at any time, without notice. We have instituted a process which will allow us to identify and follow up any time a member has modified entries on the site. If it turns out that someone has deliberately altered correct entries or in any way purposely sabotaged entries on the database by adding incorrect information this person will be excluded from the site. SHARING OF ACCOUNTS IS NOT ALLOWED. Each account is personal and if this is violated your account will be disabled without notice.  

Data You Submit
You guarantee that you either own copyright for any data submitted to us or that it is information which is in the public domain, and that it does not infringe on any existing copyright or any other rights of any third party. You retain copyright to data you have submitted to the BTCompass.com. By submitting data to the BTCompass.com you are granting a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use or modify the data for any purpose including publishing online and print. The BTCompass.com may modify the data or combine it with other data. In such an event you agree that the BTCompass.com owns copyright of the resulting data. The BTCompass.com reserves the right not to publish data you submit without being required to share the reasons for this decision. No data will be deleted from the database unless the information published violates copyright law or the information published is proven to be false.

Announcements
We only accept dogs with certified pedigrees issued by the AKC, CKC, KC, or the FCI. We will not publish announcements where the stud or dam has disqualifying faults as listed by the AKC, CKC, KC, or the FCI. We reserve the right not to accept announcements without being required to give reasons for this decision. The information in your announcement will be as shown as retrieved from the database. Your announcement is valid for the period in which your Advanced Plan subscription is active. When your subscription expires your announcement will be removed without further notice. Please keep your contact information updated as any changes that concern your contact data (website, email, phone) will affect your announcement(s) All data is the responsibility of the owner who submits the information. All information is published in good faith by the BTCompass.com and is therefore not liable for any wrong, falsified or misleading information. The right to take legal action is expressly reserved if incorrect information is deliberately submitted. Admin will review and activate your announcement after the request is submitted and approved. This may take up to 48hrs.

Terms Of Use
The BTCompass.com reserves the right to update or change these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the BTCompass.com after any change shall constitute your consent to such changes. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that change or improve the BTCompass.com shall be subject to these Terms of Use.
