1873- Nelson gained his CH title. The Kennel Club (UK) established him the first Champion Bull Terrier. He weighed just under 16 pounds. He won firsts in Birmingham (1868), Manchester (1870), Dublin (1872), and Hlascow (1873) and Champion prizes at Crystal Palace (1871, '72 and '73).
