I joined the Bull Terrier community in 1989. It didn’t take long to get on the fast track regarding all aspects of living with a Bull Terrier puppy, more precisely, our Bull Terrier puppy. Each BT is unique. I learned early on to strive to understand, nurture and train the BT in front of me. This approach makes for a solid fundamental training base and a lifelong bond.
As a person who has a passion for research and who highly values the team concept, I sought out resources and people to teach me as much as I could possibly learn about Bull Terriers. It has become crystal clear to me that the breed would benefit immensely from the worldwide community coming together in a central location. A place available to all Bull Terrier lovers. A place where everyone feels welcome. A place of learning, from the basics for the new owner to continuing education, if you will, for the folks who have shared their lives with Bull Terriers for many years. I have committed my efforts to making the Bull Terrier Compass such a place.
